Dirty Decade: Rap Music and the US South 1997-2007

Here’s a link to the New Orleans page in Matt Miller’s ambitious “Dirty Decade” project which contains a basic history of rap in New Orleans and emergence of Bounce, complete with some audio samples.
Matt Miller is also responsible for the “Ya Heard Me?” documentary on Bounce.
