Definitely don’t know a lot about the Donkey Boyz, (excep that it’s DEFINITELY not these guys), and there’s not a lot of info online about these guys save for this lonely discogs entry on the 2001 “Bust It Open” album that these two tracks are from. They were labelmates with notable heavy hitter Bounce artists like Kilo of “Who Dat Called the Police” fame, and the excellent Fila Phil on Untouchable Records, which means they were afforded some great Bounce production. They also seem to be capable MCs that definitely sound great on these tracks. Track down the CD if you can. It’s great.
“Hey Pepper” is on some Bounce/Rap crossover shit with obvious Bounce elements and a powerful synth melody. “My Money” is a more traditional “Triggerman” and Chant Bounce song.
