Galactic “Ya-Ka-May”

Jesse Serwer of the Washington Post recently hit me up with a link to his excellent review of the forthcoming Galactic album “Ya-Ka-May” which features contributions from Bounce luminaries Big Freedia, Katey Red, Cheeky Blakk, and Sissy Nobby. I haven’t heard the album yet, but the snippets on Amazon sound extremely promising–definitely supporting this album as soon as I get home from work and I suggest you do the same! The album also features appearances from New Orleans brass band legends the Rebirth Brass Band and funk godfather Allen Touissant.
